Full Buck Moon Tonight

"As the hart pants and longs for the water brooks so I pant and long for You, O God."
(Psalm 42:1)

The Full Buck Moon will rise tonight in the southeastern sky shortly after sunset.
This moon marks the time of the year when male deer grow a full set of antlers.
Deer grow and shed their antlers each year and as they fully mature into adults
their antlers become an increasingly large and impressive "rack".

This month's moon also coincides with the 55th anniversary of the
Apollo 11 moon landing on July 20, 1969.  I can remember watching the
fuzzy images sent back from space on television as American astronauts
took their first steps on the surface of the moon!  It was truly an
awesome time for America and the world!

🌝I hope the skies are clear where you're at tonight!🌝
