Remembering American singer/songwriter/musician Dave Loggins
who died this past week in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 76.
His bittersweet love ballad, "Please Come To Boston" a song he composed himself,
was a big hit in the summer of 1974, spending two weeks at number five on the
Billboard Hot 100 that August and at number one atop the Billboard Easy Listening chart.
The song was also nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Male Pop Vocal Category.
In 1995, Dave Loggins was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall Of Fame.
May he rest in eternal peace.
