The Atlantic Hurricane Season is in full swing this September

Many thanks to intrepid North Carolina weather-watcher Jewel Chesson
for this latest update on Tropical Storm Ian which is expected to strengthen
into a major hurricane early next week. Although where Ian will make landfall
is still unknown, the state of Florida is currently under a state of emergency.

The name "Ian" is Scottish Gaelic and means, "Gift of God".
I pray that this storm will truly be a blessing from the Lord
and will weakened considerably into a smattering of harmless
September rain showers before coming ashore next week!
