Remembering the great Canadian balladeer Gordon Lightfoot
who passed away this week at the age of 84.
May he rest in peace.

 The haunting lyrics of "If You Could Read My Mind" were written
 by Gordon Lightfoot while he was reflecting on his own divorce.
Released in 1970, the song became a number one hit in Canada.
I think this is one of the most beautiful and saddest songs ever written.
