Little Girl Lost

"The Lord will go forth like a mighty man, He will rouse up His zealous
indignation and vengeance like a warrior.  He will cry, yes, He will shout aloud,
He will do mightily against His enemies."
(Isaiah 42:13)

Who was this beautiful young woman?

What were her thoughts... and her dreams...her aspirations in life?

German-born artist Shani Louk was attending a music festival for peace in southern
Israel when her promising young life was suddenly and cruelly taken from her.

Louk has been identified as the woman whose lifeless and semi-naked body
was filmed in the back of a truck driven by member of Hamas. She had been
seized along with other tourists by the terrorists after they crossed the
border into Israel during an unprecedented surprise attack this weekend.

According to news reports, at least 480 people
have been confirmed dead, and 3,200 had been wounded.

In the released video, Shani's body can be seen splayed in the
back of a truck with one of her leg's bent at an unnatural angle.
Members of Hamas can be seen hovering around her
as they gleefully spit on her.

Meanwhile, supporting crowds of onlookers swarmed the truck in
order to contribute their own contemptuous saliva at the victim,
as she was paraded through the streets of Gaza by her killers.

The news of Shani Louk's death broke as her distraught mother, Ricarda,
released a video begging for help to find out what happened to her daughter.

Holding a picture of Shani on her mobile phone, she pleaded:

"This morning my daughter, Shani Nicole Louk, a German citizen, was
kidnapped with a group of tourists in southern Israel by Palestinian Hamas.
We were sent a video in which I could clearly see our daughter unconscious
in the car with the Palestinians and them driving around the Gaza Strip.
I ask you to send us any help or any news.  Thank you very much."

Shani's adductors later claimed that the body on the truck was a female
Israeli soldier.  But later, Shani's cousin, Tomasina Weintraub-Louk,
positively indentified her.  Weintraub-Louk told the MailOnline that family
members recognized Shani's distinctive leg tattoos and dreadlocked hair.

Hamas "thought" she was a female Israeli soldier.

Today a mother in Germany grieves for her daughter.

Her little girl lost forever through a senseless act
of depraved human and spiritual evil.

My heart and prayers are with Shani's mother, and
her family in this time of unbearable sorrow and loss.

May your beloved daughter rest in peace.

Please pray for the people and nation of Israel and all those
who have been abducted and are being held hostage by Hamas.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
