Praise To God, Immortal Praise

"Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God;
for He gives you the former or early rain in just measure and in
 righteousness, and He causes to come down for you the rain,
 the former rain, and the latter rain, as before.

 And the threshing floors shall be full of grain and the vats shall
overflow with the juice of the grape and oil.

And I will restore or replace for you the years that the locust have eaten."
(Joel 2:23, 24, 25)

Praise to God, immortal praise,

 For the love that crowns our days:

Bounteous Source of every joy,

Let Thy praise our tongues employ.

Flocks that whiten all the plain,

Yellow sheaves of ripen grain,

Clouds that drop their fattening dews,

Suns that temperate warmth diffuse;

All that Spring with bounteous hand

Scatters o'er the smiling land;

All that liberal Autumn pours

From her rich o'erflow-ing stores-

These to Thee, my God, we owe,

Source whence all our blessings flow;

And for these my soul shall raise

Grateful vows and solemn praise.

Sing we to our God above

Praise eternal as His love;

Praise Him, all ye heavenly host,

Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Amen
