A near total eclipse will pass over southern New Jersey on Monday April 8th.
According to NASA, the moon will cover 87.1 % of the sun in my neck of the
woods reaching peak coverage around 3:23 p.m. The moon will begin
covering the sun at 2:08 p.m. and end at 4:34 p.m.
While it is best not to look up at the sun during a solar eclipse, if you choose to
do so please make sure you are wearing protective eye wear or "eclipse glasses".
