Before and during WWII, German Christians went to church on Sunday.
On Monday morning, when their Jewish neighbors were rounded up
and taken away by the Nazis to die in concentration camps, far too
many German Christians remained silent witnesses, not willing
to become involved in what many saw as the "politics of state"
instead of a satanic ideology of hate.
