Monday Meditation: Lord Of Heaven And Earth

"Thus says the Lord; Heaven is My throne, and the earth
 is My footstool.
What kind of house would you build for Me?
And what kind can be My resting-place?
(Isaiah 66:1)

"The God Who produced and formed the world and all the things in it,
being Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in handmade shrines.
Neither is He served by human hands, as though He lacked anything,
for it is He Himself Who gives life and breath to all things."
(Acts 17:24-25)

"And He made from one common origin, one source, one blood, all
nations of men to settle on the face of the earth, having definitely determined
their allotted period of time and the fixed boundaries of their habitation,
their settlements, lands, and abodes, So that they should seek God, in
hope that they might feel after Him and find Him, although
He is not far from each one of us.

For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of
your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring."
(Acts: 17:26-28)

"For all these things My hand has made, and so all these things
have come into being by and for Me, says the Lord.  But this is
the man to whom I will look and have regard; he who is humble
and of a broken or wounded spirit, and who trembles at
My word and reveres My commands."
(Isaiah 66:2)

"God is a Spirit, a spiritual Being and those who worship Him
must worship Him in spirit and in truth."
(John 4:24)
