Flashback Friday: When I Dream

 

A pretty song sung by a pretty lady, "When I Dream" was a big hit 
 for country music songbird Crystal Gayle in the  summer of 1978. 

Around the same time, I remember my Dad taking my Mom and all
  of us kids to see her perform at the Broadway Theatre in Pitman, NJ.

Crystal, whose real name is Brenda Gail Webb, is the baby sister of
country music legend Loretta Lynn.  Known for her beautiful floor-
length hair, she became one of the most successful country/pop
cross-over artists of the 1970's and 1980's.
