Joshua and Caleb explore the infamous Tel Lachish ruins to recount
the story of the destruction against Judea and Samaria at the hands of
Assyria and the Babylonians, proving that Israel's sin of rebellion and
idolatry brought about the harm inflicted on them.
God has always warned His people to repent before they are taken
captive and exiled from their land. Yet, through the prophet Jeremiah,
the Lord promised that after seventy years of captivity, His people
would return to the land He gave them, as well as the future
promise of the forthcoming Messiah.
