In early 20th century Scotland, an embittered widower and town veterinarian,
Dr. Andrew MacDhui (Patrick McGoohan) lives with his seven year old
daughter, Mary (Karen Dotrice) and her beloved pet cat, Thomasina.

After an injured Thomasina is presumed dead, Mary and her friends take
the cat to bury her in a nearby glen. But the children are frightened away
by the sudden appearance of a mysterious young woman known as
"Mad Lori" MacGregor (Susan Hampshire) who is thought to be a witch.

In reality, Lori has a special love for animals and brings the injured to her
shanty animal hospital to heal them.  Thomasina is no exception.  But as she
recovers under Lori's tender care, the cat has no memory of her life with Mary.

Although theatrically released in 1963,  "The Three Lives Of Thomasina" aired
as a three part series on Season 12 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology
television program, later called, "The Wonderful World Of Disney"
 on November 14th, 21st, 28th, 1965.
