Sunday Night In Uncle Walt's Vault: Miracle Of The White Stallions

Based on the book, "The Dancing White Horses Of Austria" by Colonel Alois Podhajsky,
this 1963 Walt Disney film recounts the exciting WWII story of "Operation Cowboy"
and the rescue of 70 Lipizzaner Stallions from the famous Spanish Riding School
in Vienna, along with 300 mares and foals from a breeding farm in Czechoslavakia.

To gain the favor of American General George Patton,  Col. Podhajsky (Robert Taylor)
and his team from the Spanish Riding School perform for him in a special presentation
of "Airs Above The Ground" with the hope that Patton, who participated in equestrian
events in the 1912 Olympics, will see the value of the horses and help rescue
the mares and foals in Czechoslavkia.

Also starring Lilli Palmer, Curt Jurgens, Eddie Albert, and James Franciscus.
