Growing up in the mid-1970's I remember watching each exciting
episode of " The Wild Wild West" nightly in syndication on a local
UHF channel in my area and falling head-over-heels in love with
the handsome star of the show, tough guy and ladies man
government agent Jim West, played by actor Robert Conrad.
I always thought his brainy, disguise-wearing partner in solving
often bizarre crimes for the government, Artemis Gordon, played by actor
Ross Martin, was also a handsome man, and a suave compliment to the
more brash, "James Bond on horseback" character of Jim West.
