On My Mind: The Last Word On The BDS Movement

A Sign Of The Times

"And I will bless those who bless you,
who confer prosperity or happiness upon you
and curse him who curses or uses insolent language
toward you; in you will all the families and kindred
of the earth be blessed and by you will bless themselves."
Genesis 12:3

"Know and understand that it is really the people who
live by faith who are the true sons of Abraham.
And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify,
declare righteous, put in right standing with Himself,
the Gentiles in consequence of faith, proclaimed the
Gospel, foretelling the glad tidings of the Savior
long beforehand to Abraham in the promise,
saying, In you all the nations of the earth be blessed."
Galatians 3:7-8

Regardless of what is being reported in the news media as excuses
and justification for the BDS or Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions against
the nation of Israel, due to their longstanding "occupation of Palestine"
believers must realize that the motivation behind this odious,
worldwide political movement is no better than what spurred
the atrocious "anti-Jewish" laws of Adolf Hitler's Third
Reich. It is rooted in an ancient evil called Antisemitism.

 Antisemitism = Antichrist.

Below is an antiquated map of the region of Palestine.

Region of Palestine
(1899)

Notice that every province in the land represents one of the twelve
tribes of Israel, not the twelve tribes of "Palestine". There is no nation of Palestine.
There was never any nation of Palestine.  The only Palestine in the Near East
as this map clearly indicates is a region of land. Although this region of
land has had its share of occupiers over the centuries-the Romans, the Ottoman
Turks, and the British-to name a few, there never was, nor hopefully will
ever be, a nation called Palestine, because, if and when this ever happens,
the nation of Israel will cease to exist.

The "history" of the "Palestinian people" is largely a myth that
just keeps growing due in part to the deceitful BDS Movement
and those who advocate it- like Congresswomen Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota),
Rashida Tlaib (D-Michigan), Women's Rights activist, Linda Sarsour,
and others- including many here in America whom claim to be followers of Christ.

Last year the 1.5 million member Presbyterian Church USA
voted unanimously to support the BDS Movement and Palestine.

The fake Palestine/Palestinian narrative was confirmed over forty years ago
during an interview with Zuheir Mohsen, a member of the notorious
Syrian-based faction of the Palestinian Liberation Organization who revealed
to the Dutch newspaper Trouw in 1977: "The Palestinian people does not
exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing
our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity.
In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians,
Syrians, and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we
speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since
Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of
a distinct 'Palestinian people' to oppose Zionism."

Furthermore, Jesus was not born a Palestinian.
Yeshua (Jesus) was born a Jew. The Fourth Book of Moses
or Numbers attests to the eventual coming of the Messiah of Israel:

"I see Him, but not now; I behold Him, but He is not near.
A Star shall come forth out of Jacob and a Scepter shall rise
out of Israel and shall crush all the corners of Moab and break down
all the sons of Sheth, Moab's sons of tumult."
Numbers 24:17

Furthermore, Yeshua (Jesus)  never "became a Christian".
This is another erroneous teaching being propagated in many
liberal American churches as an excuse to justify their support
of the BDS Movement, while distancing themselves from supporting
the nation and people of Israel, whom they equate with the hateful
Apartheid regime which once ruled the nation of South Africa.

As the Bible clearly attests, Yeshua (Jesus) was born a Jew.

The Nativity Story as recorded in Matthew's gospel
proclaims and fulfills the words of the prophet Micah
concerning the birthplace and lineage of the Messiah:

"And you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, you are not in
any way the least or insignificant among the chief cities of
Judah; for from you shall come a Ruler Who will govern
and shepherd My people, Israel."
Matthew 2:6

The word, "Bethlehem" translated from Hebrew means,
"House of Bread" which is in keeping with Yeshua's declaration:
"I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to me will never be hungry,
and he who believes in Me will never thirst."
John 6:35

Yeshua was born into a family of practicing Jews.  On the
eighth day after His birth, He was circumcised and he was held
by Simeon, an elderly Jewish man who had long awaited to see
the promised Messiah before His death.

"And now, Lord, You are releasing your servant to depart
this world in peace according to Your word. For with my
own eyes I have seen Your salvation."
Luke 2:29-30

Jesus Found In the Temple

As a young boy, Yeshua went missing during the feast
of Passover and his frantic parents had to return to Jerusalem
to find him.  Where was the boy?  In the court of the Jewish
temple, sitting among the teachers and asking them questions.
He was sitting in a Jewish house of worship among His
fellow Jews, and not in a Christian church because
there was none!   The Greek word, "Christos" from which
the word, "Christian" is derived means, "Anointed"
or "Anointed One".

The name, "Yeshua" is Hebrew for "Joshua"
and means, "Yahweh is Salvation".

As the hand-picked successor of Moses,  Joshua (Yeshua) the son of Nun,
a member of the tribe of Ephraim, led Israel into the Promised Land.
Yeshua Ha'Mashiach (" Jesus" "The Anointed One") leads those who
place their faith and trust in Him to be reunited with our Father in heaven.

As He told us, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes
to the Father except by Me."
(John 14:6)

Yeshua preached the gospel of the Kingdom to his fellow Jews.
After His death and resurrection, He gave the Great Commission for
His disciples (all of whom were Jewish) to carry on- making converts of
other Jews  from all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.  Teaching those Born
Again in the spirit to observe all that the Lord had taught them.

The later "grafting in" of non-Jewish believers, or Gentiles, making
them one in Messiah with their Jewish brethren, came as a result of
the Holy Spirit -breathed revelation of the gospel of grace, the
unmerited favor of God, which came to us through the sacrificial death of His
Son on the cross, and which has enabled Him to pour out His mercy on the
entire human race. This gospel of grace was the mission of the apostle Paul.

Formerly Saul of Tarsus, a member of the tribe of Benjamin, and fanatically
religious, he was a relentless persecutor of the Jewish followers of Yeshua.
He had both condoned and watched the stoning of a young
Jewish man and believer in Ha'Mashiach named Stephen.

Saul later received special letters written by the high priest at Jerusalem,
which informed all the synagogues in the distant city of Damascus to recognize
him as having the authority to hunt down and bring back these hated
heretics "bound with chains" regardless if they were man, woman, or child,
when he encountered a mysterious voice on the road to the city asking him,
"Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?"

To read the thrilling conclusion of this story,
turn to the ninth chapter of the Book of Acts...
