On My Mind: The Forgotten American Holiday

"Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!
O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!"
(Psalm 106:1)

Whether you've begun your Christmas/holiday shopping or not, please
stop listening to or watching the fearful doom and gloom reports coming
from the duplicitous news media, especially those regarding
"the economy which was destroyed by President Trump."

I am so sick and tired of hearing this disgusting lie!

Gas prices in NJ under Trump: $1.89 for regular gas.
Under Biden: $3.49 and rising weekly!

Shelves are empty in many major grocery, drug, and dollar stores too
as it seems there is a run on toilet paper and other products in my area.
But there are Christmas decorations aplenty as well as
discounted Halloween candy still on the shelves.

Manipulative media advertising jumps right from the sugar-rush
scarefest of Halloween to the greed-inducing consumer feeding frenzy
known as the "Christmas shopping season' with very little
or no mention  of Thanksgiving at all.

In fact, this holy day of celebration centered around family, fellowship,
and food has, in recent years, become the official kick-off to Black Friday.
Some stores even open on Thanksgiving Day to early bird shoppers.

I think it is really sad that so many Americans do not even want to
celebrate Thanksgiving anymore.  If there was ever a time to give thanks
to God for His grace and mercy and for all the blessings
He has bestowed  on this nation, it is now.
