It seems almost like yesterday when I was dancing around my Dad and Mom's living room
as this great Jackie Wilson classic played on the big RCA TV/ Stereo/Record Player Combo.
I had a lot more natural agility back then!

"Higher and Higher" was released in August 1967 and quickly reached the
Number #1 slot on the US Billboard R & B chart. It later peaked to
Number #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was one of the Top 10
pop songs in America that year.
