   "Don't Go Breaking My Heart"  the upbeat duet by legendary English singer/composer 
Elton John and blue-eyed soul singer Kiki Dee (also English) is one of those memorable
 songs with a catchy refrain that can definitely get stuck in your head!

 Although the song received mixed reviews from some music critics,
"Don't Go Breaking My Heart" was the Number One song in America
 fifty years ago this week on August 7, 1976.   

In June 2013, 37 years after its original release, this song reached one million sales
in the United Kingdom.  So much for the reactions from stuffy music critics!
