Country music legend Dolly Parton has died. She was 80 years old.
Although the circumstances surrounding her death are not exactly known,
only a few months ago in May, Dolly cancelled her previously postponed
Las Vegas residency due to health challenges. A statement from her
family says she died peacefully in her sleep this morning.

from the poverty of her Appalachian childhood to become the last
reigning Queen of traditional Country Music in America and in
the world. Today she went home to be with her Lord and Savior
