FORGOTTEN HISTORY: The Mystery Of The Mary Celeste Finally Explained

Over 150 years ago, an American-registered cargo ship, the Mary Celeste,
was found adrift and abandoned in the Atlantic Ocean not far from
the Azores, an island chain over 800 miles off the coast of Portugal.

What became of the the ship's captain and his family as well as the crew?

Was it mutiny?  Did pirates attack the ship and take those on board captive?
Did it encounter a waterspout or rogue wave?  Was the ship attacked by a giant squid?

In this episode of FORGOTTEN HISTORY host Mike Droberg
examines both these theories and the historical evidence, while
separating the facts from fiction surrounding this most
 intriguing 19th century maritime mystery.
