Full Snow Moon Tonight

"Low in the east, when the gloaming is ending,

Slowly this white winter moon is ascending,

Looming so large and appearing so nigh,

Satellite framed by a star-spangled sky.

According to the the folks at the Old Farmer's Almanac, this month's
Full Snow Moon will reach peak illumination today at 11:59 AM EST.
It will drift above the horizon in the east around sunset and reach its
highest point in the sky around midnight.

As tonight's forecast is calling for increasingly cloudy skies here in my
neck of the woods,  I am wondering if I will even see the moon tonight,
unlike last night, and earlier this morning, when Luna appeared like
a bold and beautiful spotlight in the clear predawn sky.

I hope the skies are clear where you're at tonight!🌝
