"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
No one comes to the Father but through Me."
(John 14:6)
Under Old Testament law, only the high priest was permitted to
enter the "holy of holies" or the inner sanctum of the Temple
once a year on Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement.
When Christ died on the cross, the veil or curtain in the Temple,
which typified His human body was rent, in order for
believers to obtain righteousness, through His righteousness,
and gain access to the throne of the Father in heaven.
