"What's all this mooing about anyway?"
A friend gave me these definitions of various forms of government, and I thought you might want to share
them with your readers:
Communism: You have two cows. The government takes both of them and gives you part of the milk.
Socialism: You have two cows. The government takes one and gives it to your neighbor.
Fascism: You have two cows. The government takes both cows and sells you the milk.
Nazism: You have two cows. The government takes both of them and shoots you.
Bureaucracy: You have two cows. The government takes both of them, shoots one, milks the other, then pours the milk down the train.
Capitalism: You have two cows. You sell one of them and buy a bull.
Abby, what happens in a democracy?
-Mrs. J. McC.
Dear Mrs. McC.
In a democracy, everyone has two cows, then a vote is taken and whatever the majority decides to do, you do, and that's no bull!
My personal thoughts on this topic...
Capitalism is the only
system of substantial growth!
Capitalism respects the rights and
protects the freedoms of the individual.
Capitalism encourages innovation,
as well as competition in a free market society.
Capitalism encourages hard work and
determination to bring the dreams
of the American people to life.
* Freedom * Liberty* Equality * Justice *
There is no perfect society or nation on earth.
Although America has its share of problems,
if you live here in this land of freedom and plenty,
consider yourself blessed!
True freedom, liberty, equality, and justice can only
come through God and from honoring Him first and
foremost both in our nation, and in our lives.
"The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord
prolongs one's days, but the years of the wicked
shall be made short.
The hope of the uncompromisingly righteous,
the upright, in right standing with God,
is gladness, but the expectation of
the wicked, those out of harmony with God,
comes to nothing."
