"When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them
out of all their distresses and troubles. The Lord is close to those who
are of a broken heart and saves such as are crushed with sorrow for
sin and are humbly and thoroughly penitent. Many evils confront
the consistently righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."

Hurricane Hillary made landfall yesterday in Mexico. She is now
heading north as a post tropical storm, bringing high winds, heavy
rains, and catastrophic flooding in her wake. Please pray for the
people who are caught in the path of this dangerous storm.
And please pray for the devastated citizens of the Hawaiian island of Maui,
where wildfires have so far claimed 114 lives while many others are still missing.
