Shine On Harvest Moon

September's Full Harvest Moon
 is called Duliidsdi, or the
 Full Nut Moon, in
the Cherokee language.
All wild nuts and fruits
were traditionally gathered
 at this time.

Gypsy in the moonlight...

· "Gypsy Girl"

...Gypsy in the dew
Gypsy never come back
Until the clock strike two.

Walk in gypsy, walk in,
Walk in here I say
Walk into my parlour
To hear my banjo play.

I don't love nobody
And nobody love me
All I want is someone
To come and dance with me.

Gypsy In The Moonlight
 A Trinidad and Tobago
Folk Song

So shine on
Shine on harvest moon
Up in the sky

I ain't had no lovin' since
 January, February, June or July

Snow time ain't no time
to stay outdoors and spoon
So shine on
Shine on harvest moon

for me and my gal

Snow time ain't no time
 to stay outdoors and spoon
So shine on
Shine on harvest moon
 for me and my gal

"How I'd love to hear you whisper
In the chapel in the moonlight
That the love light in your eyes
Forever will shine.."
