O Thou, Who art 

our Refuge and Strength,

Who dost say unto us,

"It is I, be not afraid,"

enable us to abide in Thee,

and so to gain

 the courage we need.

Increase our faith in Thee,

who lovest us

and whom we love.

Teach us that there

 is no fear in love.

Thou hast said,

"Let not your hearts be troubled."

So we look to Thee

as we face the duties

 and problems

of today.

We rejoice 

that we can see Thee,

our Help, our Shield, 

and our Salvation

as we become acquainted 

with Jesus Christ,

 Thy Son, our Lord.
