Christ Our Passover

 

"Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new batch,
just as you are, still unleavened. For Christ our Passover Lamb
 has been sacrificed. Therefore, let us celebrate the feast, not
with old leaven, nor with the leaven of vice and malice and
wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of
sincerity and untainted truth."

In memory of the Savior's love

We keep this simple feast,

Where every consecrated heart

Is made a welcome guest.

By faith we take the bread of life

Which this doth symbolize

This cup in token of His blood

Our costly sacrifice.

This cup shall e'er recall the hour

When Thou did'st set us free

Soon with new joy in kingdom power

We'll drink it Lord with Thee.

What rapturous joy shall then be ours,

Forever, Lord, with Thee!

Clothed with our resurrection powers,

Thine endless praise shall be.
