"Oh, the depths of the riches and wisdom and
knowledge of God!
How unfathomable are His judgments.
And how mysterious are His ways!
For who has known the mind of the Lord
and who has understood His thoughts, or who has
ever been His counselor?
Or who has first given God anything that he might
be paid back, or that he could claim a recompense?
For from Him and through Him and to Him
are all things.
For all things originate with Him and come from Him;
all things live through Him, and all things center in and tend
to consummate and to end in Him.
To Him be glory forever! Amen!
I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you
in view of all the mercies of God, to make a decisive
dedication of your bodies, presenting all your members
and faculties as a living sacrifice, holy and well pleasing
to God, which is your reasonable service and spiritual worship.
Do not be conformed to this world, this age, fashioned after
and adapted to its external, superficial customs, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind by its new
ideals and its new attitude, so that you may prove for
yourselves what is the good and acceptable and perfect will
of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and
perfect in His sight for you.
