rest, a memorial day announced by blowing of trumpets,
a holy day called assembly. You shall do no servile work

Biblically known as Yom Teruah, the Day of Sounding and
the Feast of Trumpets, this first day of the Hebrew month of Tishri
later became known as "Rosh HaShanah" the Head of the Year, and
marks the beginning of the Jewish High Holy Days.
The blowing of the shofar or ram's horn is sounded within the
synagogue to alert the faithful that the time of repentance is near.
In ancient times, the blowing of the shofar was used to hail
the approach of a king,
For believers in Messiah Yeshua, the holy observance
of Rosh HaShanah is a time of both reflection and of
blessed hope in anticipation of the return of our Lord for His bride.
