On My Mind: Bleeding America

"Are not two little sparrows sold for a copper coin?
And yet not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will.
But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered, for the Father is
sovereign and has complete knowledge. So do not fear;
you are more valuable than many sparrows."
Matthew 10:29

The words, "Bleeding Kansas" were coined by American newspaper writer
Horace Greeley, which he used to describe the terrible border wars
from 1854-1861 between the state of Missouri and the territory of Kansas,
a fight which stemmed from the political and ideological argument
over slavery and which eventually led up to the Civil War.

Reynolds Political Map Of Free And Slave States
(1856)

Pro-slavery advocates were determine to allow settlers in Kansas
to bring all their property with them-including their slaves- while
the growing forces of the abolitionist movement in America
were determine to keep slavery out of the new territory.

The Kansas-Nebraska Act passed by Congress on May 30, 1854
allowed the people living within the territories of Kansas and Nebraska
to decide for themselves whether or not to allow slavery within
their borders.  This act served to repeal the Missouri Compromise
Act of 1820 which prohibited slavery north of latitude 36 30'.

There were settlers on both sides of the slavery issue
that only wanted to farm the land and make a new home for
their families and to live in peace.  Unfortunately, this
was not to be.  Even those settlers indifferent to the idea
of slavery found themselves swept up into the violence
between the pro- and anti-slavery factions.

Today we look at the issue of slavery as an abomination.
And yet, it still exists in many parts of the world today, which
unfortunately includes America, where human-trafficking,
along with the transporting of illegal drugs, is one of
the serious issues regarding our national borders.

This century's greatest debate remains the
sanctity of human life

However, I believe the greatest argument between Americans
today is over abortion. The display of histrionic behavior at
this past week's confirmation hearing of President Trump's Supreme Court
nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh before a Senate Judiciary Committee
is overwhelming evidence that the pro-abortion forces in this nation,
not unlike the pro-slavery groups of the past, will stop at nothing
to advance their heinous agenda of keeping infanticide a
legal business practice in America.

The pro-abortion groups are terrified that the addition of another
politically conservative judge on the Supreme Court will eventually
turn over the 1973 decision of Roe vs. Wade which legalized abortion
in America.  This so-called "landmark legislation" was based on fraud.

Although the woman at the center of the controversy, Norma McCorvey,
a.k.a. "Jane Roe" was pregnant at the time and had been denied access to
having an abortion under Texas state laws, she never had an abortion.
In fact, she later claimed that she did not even know the meaning of
the word, "abortion".  She gave birth to the daughter she was
carrying and decided to give the baby up for adoption.

Years later, after giving her heart to Jesus Christ, Norma struggled
with guilt and remorse over her part in one of the biggest frauds ever
perpetrated in this nation.  She devoted the rest of her life to helping
other women who found themselves facing an unwanted pregnancy.
Her main message to them was abortion is not the answer.

And she was right.  Abortion seems like a simple solution to
an unplanned pregnancy.  Yet, the industry which supports "a
woman's right to choose" are conspicuously absent when the
women they victimize not only discover they can no longer conceive
a child, but suffer from years of terrible guilt and depression.
Nor are they offering their support to the grieving families of these
women, who feel they cannot live with the decision they have made,
and end up taking their own lives as a result of their choice.

To the abortion industry and especially the Democratic Party,
which prides itself as the premiere pro-abortion political faction in
America today, the spilling of innocent blood inside Planned Parenthood
clinics across America is the crux of their power.  Advocates of
infanticide not only fill their party's coffers, but, furthers the
 Democratic Party's long-standing immoral doctrine
of destroying the traditional family in America.

Democrats debate the idea that life begins at conception, while
giving Judge Kavanaugh grief over his support of the Second Amendment.
Meanwhile, in the big cities across America, many of whom have
been ruled over by a succession of Democratic administrations,
men, women, and children are victimized on a daily basis by
random gun violence by criminals with illegal hand guns roaming
the streets.  They worry that Judge Kavanaugh may not feel sympathy
for the victims of school shootings, but what about the people
living in the inner cities?  Where is the Democrats sympathy for them?
And are they willing to go in there and confiscate all the illegal
guns being used in the same way they are demanding to abolish
the Second Amendment and take gun ownership away from
law-abiding American citizens?

Again, the answer is all about their lust for power,
and gaining control over our nation, changing free
America from a constitutionally protected Republic of
We The People, into an economically repressed, lawless
Third World-like socialist nightmare, with a coterie of
well-healed political elite ruling over what they have openly
and contemptuously cited as "deplorables" who "cling
to their guns and their religion."

However, we now have at the helm of power a leader who
not only connects with the average American citizen,
but believes in and upholds the United States Consitution
in the way our founders envisioned this glorious document
of our rights and freedoms.

President Trump has a dream to make America great again,
not just economically, but he is determine to restore to We The People
what has been lost to us due to appalling corruption and incompetence,
by ferreting out and exposing the circles of bi-partisan vermin
within the halls of political power in Washington DC.

Some people have subtitled his campaign to "Make America
Great Again" as "Draining The Swamp" and rightly so!

President Trump is far from perfect, but, in the last two years since
he was elected, and despite the relentless persecution he and his family
have endured from angry Democrats, resentful Republicans, and the
disgustingly biased mainstream American news media, he has made
many significant improvements in the lives of the American people.

Far more importantly, President Trump believes in the sanctity
of human life.  This is one of the main reasons why the Democrats
are determine to see him impeached.  However, what they fail to see
is that God, Who never misses a sparrow which falls from a tree,
will never forget the millions of children imprinted with His
likeness and image whom have been ripped from the womb,
nor those who are responsible for their murder.

Perhaps by allowing President Trump to become America's
leader at this time in world history, God will spare us
from His forthcoming judgment of the nations.
