On My Mind: Truth Be Told

ABORTION HAS NEVER BEEN, NOR WILL EVER BE,
"A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT"

There is no such thing as a  "constitutional right" to having an abortion.
I do not know how many Democratic politicians I have heard in recent
weeks-or since President Trump nominated Brett Kavanaugh as his
choice for the next Supreme Court justice-glibly referring to abortion
as a right protected under the United States Constitution.

This is as patently false as the liberal educators in our nation
teaching children that Islam was part of the founding of America.
While there might have been Muslims in early America, they
had no influence whatsoever on the laws written to guide our nation.

Both the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution were
written-with the protection of the rights and freedom of the individual
in mind- by our Founding Fathers, many of whom were Christian ministers.
These glorious documents of our heritage were based upon the
Judeo-Christian precepts found within the Holy Bible.

The Liberty Bell, on which are inscribed the words from
Leviticus 25:10, "Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto
all inhabitants thereof." and which is one of America's most
visible and cherished symbols of independence,
attests to this truth.

"I will give You thanks in the great assembly;
I will praise You among a mighty throng."
Psalm 35:18
