On My Mind: Out Of The Whirlwind

 AS ANOTHER STORM APPROACHES...

"And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea,

"Peace! Be still!

And the wind ceased and there was a great calm."

My thoughts and prayers this morning are with the

people living on the Florida Panhandle and in the Southeast

as Category Four Hurricane Michael approaches land.

May the Living God, Who rules the wind and the waves

guide and protect you always!

Please keep in your prayers the poor people in Haiti and Indonesia

in the aftermath of the disasters which recently struck these nations.

May God be with them and may much needed help from America

and other nations reach them soon.

HILLARY CLINTON SAYS THAT DEMOCRATS "CANNOT GET

CIVIL" WITH REPUBLICANS, AND "MUST GET TOUGHER".

My question here is, Why not?
  Why can't Democrats and Republicans try 

 and get along despite their obvious political differences? 
The unfortunate truth is that many who serve
 within the US Senate and the House of Representatives
 have decided to renounce our Constitution, 
along with the freedom and rights it grants to all Americans, 
in order to aligned themselves with the freedom-crushing ideologies
 of Communism and Socialism.

  Many serving within our government today

 have swung as far to the political Left as they can go
 and are seeking to transform our free Constitutional Republic
 into a repressed, Third World-like nation ruled over
 by a coterie of powerful, atheistic elites like themselves.

This was definitely not the America envisioned by our Founding Fathers 

 when they drafted the United States Constitution several centuries ago.

Furthermore, the idea of the formation of separate political parties was not  

 favored by such leading figures as President George Washington and

President John Adams, both of whom eschewed the very notion of our young 
 nation, which had just fought a bloody revolution against the constraints

of Great Britain,  once again succumbing to the tyrannical rule
 of a centralized government, where the will of the people would
be usurped and controlled through the "whims" of a ruling party.

With the recent travesty of the Senate hearings for Judge Brett Kavanaugh,
the entire world witnessed the organized "whims" of one such political party,
which clearly stepped across the bounds of civility and common sense
 in the attempt to force their will, or political agenda, on the American people.

There is absolutely no excuse that the Democratic Party can give to 
the American people for their totally reprehensible treatment of this man
 and his family.  I appreciate President Trump apologizing to newly
 confirmed Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and his family
on behalf of the nation, however, this whole debacle should be
a wake up call for every citizen in America who loves their freedom, 
and respects the rule of law in this country.  For given the right set of
circumstances, what happened to Justice Kavanaugh, a man of 
impeccable credentials and many years of honorable public service 
 could happen to any American citizen reading this post!

We have seen our enemies at work. 

 And they're not only blood-thirsty terrorists
 conspiring against America on foreign soil.
  It seems to me, that by far, our worst enemies
 are the homegrown political jihadists working against us
 within the halls of power in Washington DC.

Please consider this carefully before casting your vote this November.
