From This Time Forth And Forever

Are you sick and tired of the seemingly non-stop
war of words going on in our nation today on a daily basis?

The American news media has launched an all out campaign
of reporting "fake news" to try and discredit and destroy
President Donald Trump.
So far it has backfired in their faces.
Most of the American people, myself included, do not
trust nor believe in anything they say!

Tired and disgusted of  the profanity-laced rants
and sexual perversion found on the television and  the Internet?
Of our sickening modern culture which glorifies debauchery and violence, especially acts
of disrespect and lawlessness against those in authority?
The indifference to God and His Word, and the growing apostasy within the
so-called 'organized' Christian churches in America today?
Are you so fed up with the way things are going that you have seriously considered shucking all the
conveniences of 21st century living and want to
live out the rest of your life in seclusion like a hermit?

Saint Catherine's Monastery
Mount Sinai, Egypt

Sometimes I think the God-fearing men and women
of centuries past who did live in seclusion
from the world had the right idea all along.

However, being isolated from the influence of the world
did not make them less vulnerable as human beings to the
taunts and temptations of the flesh, nor did their
self-imposed isolation guard them from the often
subtle attacks of the enemy of their souls.

Although it is very easy to want to run and hide away some place
these days, what I have to keep reminding myself is,
that despite the sharp increase in appalling acts of
human wickedness we are witnessing on an almost daily basis,
the Lord Who created the heavens and the earth is still
very much in control of this crazy and chaotic world.

And even though I sometimes think I would have been
better off living in a past time, I know God has placed me
right where He wants me to be in the present one.

Encouragement from the Word of God
for the remnant of His church in America and many
other nations in the world today.

Psalm 125
A Song of Ascents

Those who trust in, lean on, and confidently hope
in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved,
but abides and stands fast forever.

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord
is round about His people from this time forth and forever.

For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land
of the uncompromisingly righteous,
lest the righteous, God's people,
stretch forth their hands to iniquity and apostasy.

Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, and to those who
are right with You and all people, in their hearts.

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways,
of indifference to God, the Lord will lead them forth
with the workers of iniquity.

Peace be upon Israel!

And may the Lord's peace be upon you, the reader!

Read this, and remember to keep on looking up expectantly
my brothers and sisters, for our Redemption draws ever closer!

Come soon, Lord Yeshua Ha'masiach!

O Lord, Our Lord
